Capturing an Honest Expression of my Subjects
I take advantage of urban design and road messages to introduce a discourse and a reflection on the order of the political, poetic and subversive. I found a lot of fascination from people watching. Before I decided to pursue an art major, I strongly considered psychology because I became good at studying people and noticing details. In portrait art my fascination with people and observations can be expressed in a multitude of ways. I never lose interest in exploring the vast possibilities I find with portrait subjects.

I love to draw faces. Each face to me tells an intriguing story regardless of age, gender, race or background. I am intrigued by the human condition with all its imperfections and fragility; this is what motivates me to create my works which I intend to depict in a raw, fleshy, organic and unprocessed way.
